La era digital ha dado voz a muchas personas que de otro modo no ser\u00edan escuchadas, permitiendo que los hashtags catalicen conversaciones sobre temas tan espantosos como los abusos a los derechos humanos. Un tweet reciente de nuestro bufete de abogados, Universal Legal, resumi\u00f3 la urgencia de la situaci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos en Ir\u00e1n, en particular en relaci\u00f3n con el caso de Armita Geravand, una chica de 16 a\u00f1os<\/u>que cay\u00f3 en coma tras un enfrentamiento con la polic\u00eda moral.<\/p>\n

El caso de Armita Geravand<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

El 2 de octubre de 2023, Armita Geravand fue golpeada por la polic\u00eda moral en el metro de Teher\u00e1n por no usar correctamente su hijab. Fue internada en un hospital militar tras caer en coma, donde permanece.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades iran\u00edes han negado haber actuado mal y atribuyeron su condici\u00f3n a una \u201cca\u00edda de la presi\u00f3n arterial\u201d.
